The glossary below is a simple guide to all the common terms.
- ESCO - Energy supply company
- PV - Photo-voltaic, often referred to as solar panels. These devices use the energy from the sun to produce electricity.
- CHP - Combined Heat and Power. These devices use the heat produced by the generation of electricity to typically provide hot water.
